Who the free plan suits, and when you'll outgrow it
We would rather you knew the ceiling before you sign up than find it on a Saturday night.
Starter fits well if you run
- A café, tea stall, bakery counter or small dhaba
- Up to 15 tables and a menu of up to 60 dishes
- Up to 3 people taking orders and billing
- Around 10 bills a day
Time to move up when
- You issue more than 300 bills in a month. An outlet billing 40 times a day gets there in about a week
- Your menu grows past 60 dishes or your floor past 15 tables
- You need more than 3 staff logins or 3 devices
- You open a second branch
Standard is ₹2,499 a month (plus GST) with unlimited tables, dishes and bills. You ask for it from Admin → Restaurant, and your menu, tables, staff and bills carry over. See pricing.
What “free” means here
Plenty of POS software is free for a few weeks. Starter is free without a countdown.

Questions about the free plan
Is IntelixServe really a free restaurant POS?
Yes. The Starter plan costs nothing, has no end date and needs no card. It is the full product for one branch: counter app, waiter app, GST and VAT bills, thermal printing and reports, within the limits of 3 staff logins, 3 devices, 15 tables, 60 dishes and 300 bills a month.
What is the catch?
The limits. Starter is sized for a small outlet. When a restaurant grows past them we hope it moves to Standard, and that is how we are paid. Nothing you rely on is switched off after a few weeks, because there is no end date to reach.
What happens when I reach 300 bills in a month?
The app tells you that you have reached the Starter limit. Ask for Standard or Pro from Admin → Restaurant and we switch your plan; your menu, tables, staff and bills carry over unchanged.
Do I have to buy hardware?
No. The counter runs in any modern browser on a PC or tablet you already have, waiters use Android phones, and any ESC/POS thermal printer over Bluetooth or LAN prints the receipts.
Does the free billing software print GST bills?
Yes. Bills carry your GSTIN and the CGST and SGST split for food and beverages. Liquor goes on a VAT bill with your TIN, or on a single combined invoice with both tax blocks. The same billing runs on every plan, free included.
Will my data be deleted if I stay on Starter?
No. There is no time limit on Starter, so there is nothing to expire. If a paid subscription lapses later, the restaurant returns to the Starter limits and nothing is deleted.
