Liquor on its own tax, discounts that stop where you say, dishes that follow the guest, and a login that stays with its owner.
GST and liquor VAT, on one bill series or two
Food and beverages go on a GST bill with your GSTIN, liquor on a VAT bill with your TIN, or both on one combined invoice. Number them from one shared running series, or give each its own prefix and sequence.
Separate discount caps for food, beverage and liquor
Set a discount limit for each of the three, and each part of the bill stops at its own cap. Useful where liquor discounts are held tighter than food.
Move a dish, or part of it, to another table
Guests change tables, or a plate went on the wrong one. Move the whole line, or just two of its four rotis, and both tables' orders stay right. It is what other systems call shifting a KOT, done per dish.
One phone per login
Each login works on one phone at a time, so a waiter's login can't be passed around the floor and the orders on a phone belong to the person signed in on it.

Guests order by scanning the table QR
Each table gets a QR code. Guests scan it, browse the menu on their own phone and place the order — it goes straight onto that table's running order for the kitchen and the counter.
Broadband down? Bill from the phone
When the restaurant's broadband or Wi-Fi drops, phones carry on over 4G or 5G on the same live floor and print to a Bluetooth printer. The counter picks up when broadband is back; nothing is re-entered.
Billing through the mobile app
Waiters issue the bill, take cash, card or UPI, and print the receipt over Bluetooth — all from the phone at the table, without walking to the counter.
ESC/POS from phones
The Android app prints directly to Bluetooth Classic or LAN (port 9100) printers. A Bluetooth printer keeps printing when the restaurant's router is down.

Cash vs credit, food / beverage / liquor sale, discounts and service charge — the sheet you close the day with.

Questions owners ask us
Do I need special hardware?
No. The counter runs in any modern browser on a PC or tablet; waiters use Android phones. Any ESC/POS thermal printer (Bluetooth or LAN) works.
Can we keep billing when the internet goes down?
Yes, from phones. IntelixServe runs in the cloud, so when the restaurant's broadband or Wi-Fi drops, waiters and the cashier carry on taking orders and billing on phones or tablets over mobile data (4G/5G). It is the same live system: tables, orders and bills stay in step, and the counter PC picks up where they left off when broadband is back. Nothing needs re-entering.
How do we print bills during an outage?
With the IntelixServe Android app and a Bluetooth thermal printer, 58 or 80 mm: it prints straight from the phone. A LAN or Wi-Fi printer works only while your router is up, so keep a Bluetooth printer as the backup. The phone browser can take orders and issue bills but cannot print; printing needs the Android app, which we provide during onboarding.
Does IntelixServe work with no internet at all?
No. At least one phone needs mobile data. If there is none either, write paper bills and enter them later under their real date and number with Post past bill, which we switch on for your restaurant on request. Correcting a past bill's date or number can be switched on too.
Can we keep our existing bill numbers?
Yes. Set the prefix, padding and next number per series, or use one shared running number that continues from where your old system stopped.
We serve liquor — how are bills handled?
Liquor lines go on a VAT bill with your TIN, food and beverages on a GST bill with your GSTIN. Or combine them into a single invoice with both tax blocks.
Is it really free?
Yes. The Free plan has no end date: 3 staff logins, 15 tables, 60 dishes and 750 bills a month, with the full product — counter app, waiter app, GST/VAT bills, printing and reports. No card needed. When you outgrow it, ask for Standard or Pro from Admin → Restaurant inside the app and we switch you over.
Can guests order without a waiter?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Print the QR code for each table from Admin → Tables; guests scan it, see your menu on their phone and place the order, which appears on that table's running order for the kitchen and the counter. Payment is still taken at the table or the counter.
Can you migrate our menu?
Yes. We have migrated full menus and item codes from legacy MS Access and Excel systems; share your export during onboarding.
